    Cottonwood Heights is a city located in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States, along the east bench of the Salt Lake Valley. Following a successful incorporation referendum in May 2004, the city was incorporated on January 14, 2005.  In 2007, Money magazine rated Cottonwood Heights at #100 on their Best Places to Live list. As a community, they are committed to providing exceptional facilities, parks, and services to improve the health and lifestyles of our community.

     

     

     

    Parks and Recreation

    Cottonwood Heights provides a Recreation Center, the Service Area is responsible for the scheduling and maintenance of 6 beautiful parks, pavilions, playgrounds, 23 tennis courts, 3 outdoor pickleball courts, and numerous special events during the year. Cottonwood Heights is home to numerous beautiful and scenic trails. Whether you’re looking for something easy, hard, long, short, walking or biking, you can have your pick from the several trails and bike lanes throughout the city. Beyond the skiing, Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons and their respective resorts offer mountain biking, climbing, fishing, disc golf, hiking and other activities all year round.

    From the fancy to the funky, you’ll find the meals you’re craving in Cottonwood Heights. Cafe Trio serves up contemporary Italian cuisine, while Market Street Grill is a Salt Lake mainstay that makes its name with fresh fish.
